We were there for a private party with a 3 course, private menu, so our group was rather large. The ambiance of our private room was beautiful, it reminded me of a rustic wine cellar. In our private package, we were supposed to receive 3 appetizers, 3 entrees and two sides, and one dessert. The servers were really nice and you could tell they really cared about us and were trying to keep us happy. However, the servers seemed inexperienced (and one even told us, so) with large, private parties like ours. Things that were paid for in our package, like two of the sides were forgotten until after someone in our group said something about it but by that time, they had cleared most of our plates to get ready for the dessert course. Some of the entrees were dry and flavorless and some possibly undercooked. Their dessert, a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, candied pecans, and fresh berries never came with fresh berries, only a very syrup drizzled on top. I will say that despite not having the berries, it was the best red velvet cake I've ever had. The cake was really moist, and the cream cheese frosting was sweet and creamy like a no- bake cheese cake. The pecans gave it the crunch it needed. I could have had another slice.
Nice warm atmosphere. Service was very good. Although a bit pricey to us, the food was also very good. My son in law ate every bit of his 16 oz ribeye steak and fries. Pleasant experience. We will be back.
Really cool looking place inside. We had the mini burgers and the pretzel with beer cheese. Burgers were delicious, pretzel had no salt and the cheese had no flavor. We probably would have ordered more but the server was terrible and was more concerned with having her conversation with another employee near the bar.
Our first time here. Food was excellent, staff was friendly, service was good. I recommend the Jambalaya and the red velvet cake!
