We had the pleasure to work with Megan and the Chase on the Lake Resort for our wedding. We had such an amazing wedding day. During the planning stages we had to deal with the limitations of COVID but Megan was still very accommodating. Even with a last minute ceremony location change, we had a phenomenal wedding experience. The Chase on the Lake resort staff were so kind and easy to work with. We can’t say enough about how smoothly our wedding day went. The staff treated us like family and took care of everything we could possibly need over our whole wedding weekend. If given the opportunity to do it again we would choose Chase on the Lake every time to host our wedding!
The hotel was great. The room clean and good price for a condo suite! There was no housekeeping during our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful!! The parking area is non existent so don’t drive a truck to haul toys and expect a parking spot. The city was redoing the streets and the hotel mgmt said we could park in a certain spot. Came out the next morning and they had oiled around our vehicles. The restaurant was good. Not spectacular but not worth the price either.
My husband and I stayed for the weekend. The lakefront room was nice and convenient, but the room itself was slightly upsetting. We paid over $700 for a three night stay and it was not overly clean. There were spiderwebs above the bed, the carpets were dirty, and the tub/shower needed some serious cleaning. I understand they are understaffed and it is hard to keep up, especially in the busy season. I also got food poisoning from the 502 restaurant. We were in Walker three years ago and had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Our waitress really did not want to be there and she was not friendly. We also waited forever to get served for a drink at the bar., and there was a bartender there. We were both extremely turned off by the experience. Maybe we will let Chase get some things figured out and return in the future.
Amazing views. Delightful staff. Beautiful lodgings. A very authentic old world feel and a perfect place to unwind and get away. Look forward to my next visit.
